“What you measure you can manage”
We all have heard the adage; I use it probably two or three times a week, it has been almost a mantra in my work for the last 25 years.
But today I met with a new mantra….
“If you can not measure it – it does not exist”.
While I acknowledge this is probably not strictly correct, I definitely appreciate the line of thinking it promotes.
What can you measure better to manager better?
